Hmmm. Try fastening panels of mesquito netting to it. Without seeing the exact design of the kart, I can’t get too specific, but you should be able to fashion sides, front, and back pieces and attach them with wide-head self tapping sheet metal screws to your roll bars. You’ll have to cut out ports in the front and sides if you want to be able to shoot from inside, and make sure you design a way to secure one side from inside so you have a door. (Unless you can get in from the top easily). Idk, just an idea. The netting is pretty cheep, so it might work for you. Happy airsofting!

If it has a roll cage, just wrap the lower part in duct tape. You can get it in about what ever color you want, including camo and pink. Where you need to see, wrap it with the clear clinging cooking wrap. Then duct tape above that. Otherwise make a chicken wire frame and finish as above. If you need armor plating, stick aluminum foil to the inside.

add pieces of plywood to the sides and front, but keep it low enough so you can see, but so it protects you or cover the go kart in plywood and cut out holes to see

add a machine gun to the top and get a friend

I would ask some questions in the hobby forums of Yahoo answers.

If I were you, I would to to some of the big box retailers like Best Buy, Home Depot and Walmart and see if you can scavenge some large pieces of corogated cardboard. If possible, get the super heavy duty stuff that they ship industrial equipment in.

Next, take some measurements of your gocart and then make some blue prints of what you want to build with the cardboard and decide how you will attach it to your go-kart.

The final outcome? A really cool airsoft tank!
