It should start easier, and the answer to the other question is yes and no. The starter may be guarenteed to start, which means that the strater will turn over all of the time, this means that if there are any other problems with the engine and it doesn’t start, the starter maker won’t cover anything.
sounds like theres something wrong maybe with the engine. does it have a primer or a choke? what make is it? do you keep very fresh gas in it? e starters are nice but installing one on an engine that has no charging system is a pain and its more stuff to break too. if you have a charging stator go for it but you might just need to adjust/fix something if its hard to start. is it per chance a tecumseh powersport engine?
